This professionally converted 20ft x 16ft roller shutter container provides a strong, practical, and secure solution for garages, workshops, and trade-based businesses that require wide access within a compact footprint.
The build started with two new 20ft shipping containers, which were cut with three full side apertures to create a wide, open working space. All cut edges were smoothed and fully reinforced with 100 x 50mm box section steel, fully welded to maintain structural integrity and eliminate any risk of roof sagging over time.
The containers were then precision-drilled and securely bolted together, forming one solid unit suitable for heavy daily use. Internally, the container has been fully insulated and finished with a durable chipboard interior, providing a practical environment for tools, machinery, and vehicle work. The unit is also fully fitted with electrics, allowing immediate use on site.
Fitted with a 17ft electric roller shutter door, this container offers full-side access - making it ideal for vehicle entry, equipment movement, and workshop operations, while remaining secure when closed.
